Medicinal Properties of Salt:

Unrefined salt is a necessary element as life itself would be impossible without it.    Unadulterated salt is vital to good health, and is required by the human body in order to function properly. Sodium functions as an electrolyte, and assists with regulating the electrical charges within cells.  Chloride supports potassium absorption, enhances carbon dioxide transportation, regulates body fluid levels, and is an essential component of digestive acids.

Why Blush Sea Salt?

It is one of the highest grade of natural salt that contains no environmental pollutants.   The rare Blush  Sea Salt is the purest form of sea salt, originally formed from the Himalayan marine fossil deposits over 250 million years ago during the Jurassic era,  far away from exposure to impurities.  This extraordinary salt is still extracted from mines by hand, utilizing long-standing tradition, without any mechanical devices or explosion techniques. After being carefully hand-selected, the salt is then hand-crushed, hand-washed, and dried in the sun. The resultant high mineral crystals range in color from sheer white, varying shades of pink, to deep reds from varying iron content. It is composed of a rich mineral content that includes over 84 minerals and trace elements such as: calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper and iron. The salt's unique structure also stores vibrational energy and its colloidal form enhances absorption.

Blush Sea Salt is recognized for its beautiful rose color, high mineral content,

Blush Sea Salt Brine Bath as a detoxifier:

The skin is an excretive organ that mirrors condition of the intestines. Minerals from the Blush Brine Bath helps to balance and activate the body's energy flow.

To get the full benefits of a natural crystal salt bath, the right salt concentration is critical. The salt concentration has to be at least the same as the one of your body fluids (approximately 1%) to activate the osmotic exchange ratio. The formula for a 1% solution is 1.28 ounces of salt per gallon of water which translates to 2.6 pounds of salt in a standard sized tub. Water temperature should similate the body's at approximately 97° Fahrenheit. Do not use any bath additives, soaps, or oils. Do not shower after. Simply dry off with a towel and rest for at least 30 minutes.

  • What's wrong with regular table salt?

    Typical table salt found in grocery stores have been "cleaned" (bleached) with harsh chemicals and additives. Inorganic sodium chloride creates a fluid imbalance and can overburden the elimination systems as it is foreign to the body. In order to metabolize table salt crystals, the body must sacrifice tremendous amounts of energy as it takes 23 times the amount of cell water to neutralize every gram of sodium chloride that the body cannot eliminate. Eating common table salt causes excess fluid in the tissues which can contribute to:

    * Cellulite
    * Rheumatism, arthritis and gout
    * Kidney and gall bladder

    What about other sea salts?

    Depending on location of harvest, most sea salt aren't as ideal for human consumption any more as oceans are being used as dumping grounds for harmful toxic poisons like mercury, PCBs and dioxin, requiring refining.
